Rendezvous with Anne

1970       Lisa Troy

Filmed under the title of Rendezvous with Anne, this hot new sexploiter was the first film for Evelc Productions. The company was formed when a small group of people who worked in films for other companies decided: "We can do better ourselves." So they formed their company and set about doing just that.

Eveic Productions should be quite successful with their first venture in competing with many of the old-time producers. The script is so great, and the cinematography so imaginative, the final result is excellent for the field.

Rather than be concerned about what scene to tell you about, first, we better start right from the very beginning by telling you what its all about, rather than telling you about the luscious girls in the film, a matter which is obvious to the naked eye.

Rendezvous with Anne is the story of not one not two, but three of the most lusciously, gorgeous young maidens, all on two week vacations, and all arriving from different points at San Francisco's International

Airport at precisely the exact same time. Now, without knowing it, they all have one thing in common, and that is, they all have the same name, (Anne Steward). Through a strange sequence of events, they all get together and end up staying at the same hotel. One by one the girls meet three young men, who really show them the time of their lives.

At this point of the motion picture the photography is really something to behold. Panning back and forth into different scenes taking place all over San Francisco, the Director is able to give the impression to the viewer that he is seeing three entirely different movies, all at the same time. By adding this new dimension to the movie, it gives the viewer the excitement of actually being right there in every scene. Now, back to the movie.

Without realizing it, time passes rapidly. In the final scene at the Airport, they are getting ready to board the plane when they all realize that they can't go back to the dull life they all led before. That it can't end like this. They've all found something, EACH OTHER. With all three couples Arm-in-Arm laughing, happy walking out of the Airport, the movie ends.

This motion picture written, directed, and produced by Lowell Pickett reaches one climax after another, culminating in scenes which will leave the audiences trembling with excitement.

The words and music, "The Best Inside of Me," written incidentally, by one of the stars in the movie, Lisa Troy, vividly reflects the quality, the excitement, and the authenticity of a picture that will add something new to the best traditions of movie making.
