Lonesome Women

1965

Teaser Storyline for : Lonesome Women

High in the mountains, away from all civilization, a band of ruthless men hold tyrannical rule over a community created by them.

This is the 'diamond' country in Brazil and the so-called innocent families and questionable women that came to get rich, came with a past they preferred forgotten. They immediately became the slaves, destined to dig for diamonds and satisfy the lusts of angry wanton men.

A man is caught stealing a large diamond and is beaten to death before the community. Another, unmindful of the consequences, steals another diamond and plans to escape. His beautiful daughter cannot dissuade him as she is aware of their fate in store should he be caught. The father attempts to enlist the aid of a young man passing through, and the young man is accused of stealing the stone when the father dies from a head-attack when he is discovered. No one knows who has the diamond.

One of the henchmen steals into the daughter's home

and in the process of sexually attacking her is confronted by the young man. A lasting death struggle ensues and the young man is the victor. Enlisting the aid of the nite-club madam, the young couple plan to escape. Meanwhile, the ringleader's mistress sensing the plot, also wishes to escape.

The ringleader's lieutenant is ordered to make his mistress available to seduce the young man in an attempt to find the diamond. In his reluctance to do so, the lieutenant is roughed up and revenge swells within him. The beautiful mistress performs a sensual dance at the nite club. During her performance, her lover steals away to the beach and takes his wrath out on a defenseless young maiden swimming in the nude. He sexually attacks her.

The young couple meanwhile have secreted themselves in a deserted cabin after the young man finds the diamond. It is then established that the young man had purposely come here to uncover the details surrounding his father's death. It seems that his father was held prisoner to dig for diamonds and subsequently died under suspicious circumstances.

The climactic chase is on. The madam joins the couple and is killed as she becomes a decoy so the couple may escape. Tracked into town, the young lovers are confronted by the ringleader and his lieutenant at gun-point. The diamond is dropped on the floor and the greed of the two ruthless men rears its ugly head. Each wanting the diamond, a gun battle takes place and the ringleader is shot. Mortally wounded, he staggers into the street as he realizes his mistress is ready to flee with the couple. She cannot make up her mind, Inside, the lieutenant stoops to pick up the diamond and is knifed to death by a revengeful barmaid whom he was keeping on dope. Outside, the leader falls to the ground. His mistress runs to him, takes him in her arms. he dies.

The young couple drive off.
