THE Games Men Play takes place in a small, discreet town, an out-of-the-way location and an ideal rendezvous for lovers. Their focal point is the Hotel La Cigarra, which comfortably affords the seclusion and privacy the guests are seeking for their indiscretions. In the French comedy-drama six diversified couples find themselves in quarantine for several weeks.
If walls had ears, this unique hotel could fill a few volumes. For example, at the present, we find a married couple in search of the privacy they cannot find at home with a large family and a mother-in-law, an industrial executive accompanied by a well-known model, an unscrupulous journalist and his mistress, a secretary of the staff of his newspaper, a ventriloquist and his school teacher girl friend, an aging musician with his maid, as well as two youthful students engaged to be married, and very much in love.
To complete this potpourri of tete-a-tete, a prostitute arrives with a sailor who is suddenly taken ill with bubonic fever. As a result, all the guests

at Hotel La Cigarra are forced to remain there in quarantine until the seaman has fully recovered. The subsequent events during this ordeal of confinement have an indelible effect on the principals.
