The doped sexual shenanigans culminate with the husband raping his wife while she is held spread-eagled by witches and warlocks. The film is good the ending will send shivers down your spine.

The use of witchcraft as a gimmick to launch a series of hardcore encounters between a newlywed couple and a cult of devil worshipers is unusual enough to spark more than routine porno interest, and Dark Dreams stands as the most professional yet in a usually threadbare field.

Cast members (all breathing heavily under assumed names) are good-looking and energetic, working hard to make the porno sequences less redundant through use of baby oil and gobs of whipped cream. Roger Guermontes' direction shows a feel for the truly erotic too often lacking, surprisingly enough, in other porno items. Big plus is the soundtrack which combines original music with eerily amplified gasps, moans and sound effects. - Variety
